peasants starving to death

hi,
i'm trying the mac demo,
and my peasants and gladiators keep starving to death.
the manual and the tutorial don't seem to tell me anything
about how to feed them.
clicking on them, you get that little circle with some options,
one of which looks like a loaf of bread, leading me to believe
that is how you feed them....but nothing. it doesn't seem to work
at all.

The first tutorial goes through how to feed your peasants and gladiators.
You need to build an "Inn", then once a peasant or gladiator gets hungry they will automatically go to the Inn. You must have at least 1 unit of food, so make sure you have also built a "Bakery" and assigned a peasant to work there.

Hope that helps, I can see room for improvements in the wording of the tutorial though and will look into improving the tutorial for a future release. The circle menu (right-click menu) needs an explanation which I'll work on getting into the tutorial as well. Basically that food icon is a way to send your unit to the nearest Inn, but unless you have a unit of food he can't eat.

Any other troubles or questions feel free to ask.
I realize the manual is out of date since the big v1.2 patch and I've been working on fixing that as well as expanding what is currently there.
